Nigeria’s Governor Simon Lalong’s daughter, Stephanie Lalong, on Saturday voted for the first time in northcentral Shandam Local Government Area of Plateau state.
Stephanie who turned 21 years, on the 11th of March, said she was excited to have exercised her franchised.
Voting along side her parents at the Ajikamai polling unit 2, Nyak Ward, the 21 years old said she is confident the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), will emerge victorious.
However, Lalong who voted at 10:37am appreciated his people for coming out to vote, adding that the environment is peaceful and calm.
He said he only had little challenge identifying his party logo on the ballot box as the candidates were much on the ballot paper.
Lalong advised INEC to make letters and party logos bold in subsequent elections.
