Buhari Diaspora Support Organisation (BDSO), has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his re-election victory.

The group said they are indeed elated at the news of the President’s second triumph to pilot Nigerians affairs for the second time.

Speaking in a statement signed by its Global Coordinator, Mr. Charles Efe Sylvester and a copy made available to Sky News Africa, reads that it was a privilege that BDSO was the first group to meet with Mr. President when he declared his intention to seek re-election.

“We believed in him and set out to support the Buhari/Osinbajo government for continuity of their great works in building a greater Nigeria.

“As the largest pro Buhari/Osinbajo Support group in the Diaspora we mobilised millions of Nigerians worldwide to support Mr. President in 2015 and did it again in 2019, despite stiff opposition and attacks on social media.

“We were confident that the Nigerian masses would turnout in large numbers to support Buhari because he is a general of the people and the champion of the masses”.

The group said it had no doubt that the excellent records of this government would not escape the attention of discerning Nigerians.

“We have been vindicated that our firm belief in Buhari’s ability to steer the ship of the country for a second term has been acknowledged. We believe that the Buhari government will continue to serve Nigeria diligently.

“We wish to use this opportunity to thank thousands of our members and volunteers world-wide, who reached out to millions of Nigerians to support Buhari at the 2019 election.

“We congratulate president Buhari for emerging as the winner of the just concluded free, fair and credible election”.

BDSO however call on Nigerians to support the leadership of the President.
