A member in Nigeria’s federal house of representative, legislating for Jos south / Jos East federal constituency in north-central Plateau state, Hon. Dachung Bagos, on Tuesday said his first assignment to the people of his constituent is to end hunger.
Bagos said that if people are hungry nothing in governance will make any meaning to them.
He stated this while distributing a trailer load of fertilizer to the people of his primary constituency.
“I make this donation to assist farmers to produce more crops aimed at addressing the issues of hunger among my people.
“My desire is to give more priority to farmers because farming has always been a major occupation for people living in Jos South and Jos East and I know that this will address the issue of food security.
“We will not sit down and allow our people starve to death and this is why I am encouraging them to go to farm”, he said.
