Nigeria’s government is set to hold a Commercial and Industrial Trade Fair where buyers will meet the biggest sellers in a hub that promises to be a one stop shop.
The government is particular about the Fair for its unique strategy in boosting the economy of the country.
The Fair which will be held at the Lagos International Trade Fair Complex is making history, as it is also celebrating a comeback, after 14 years since it was last held at the traditional Complex of the market, situated at Badagry Expressway Lagos, south-west Nigeria.
According to a report released by the Management of the Complex, the height is achieved by the Executive Director of the Complex (ED), Barr. Vera Ndanusa, who has worked tirelessly to reposition the Complex, since she assumed office as the new boss.
“Commercial and Industrial, speaks of the direction the country is headed in redirecting the country’s economic baseline”, Ndanusa had said in one of her speeches.
According to our correspondent, the Fair will host 100,000 plus visitors, more than 10 countries, 500 plus exhibitors and 2000 plus SMEs.
“It will provide opportunities for manufacturers, traders, investors, SMEs, service providers, banking institutions, commercial hubs, to market their goods and services”.
With the theme, strengthening Nigeria’s commercial and industrial sector through trade and investment, the Fair aims to unlock the country’s potential.
However, in a jingle serving as a pull strategy for the Fair as monitored by this reporter, it informed thus: “Come and buy at the trade fair, where savings fly!
“Great prices, amazing deals every day. Come and explore!
“Get ready, get set, trade fair on your one-stop shop, for everything gone.
“Innovative products, exclusive deals.This trade fair is where the action is revealed.
“Don’t be late …..Grab your bags, and participate in the excitement and in the fun.
