Group drum support for Nigeria’s President Tinubu ahead next election

A group in support of the reelection of Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu, AATSG, has sent a resounding message of unwavering loyalty and optimism as they reaffirm their full backing of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s agenda which it says, it’s transformational.

In a display of unity and dedication, the group’s leaders yesterday visited former Senate President Ameh Ebute, who chairs the National Advisory Council of the AATSG to celebrate Nigeria’s “exceptional progress under Tinubu’s leadership and to underscore the critical need for sustained momentum as the nation looks towards 2027”.

Under the stewardship of AATSG National Chairman Otunba (Dr.) Abdulfalil Abayomi Odunowo, the delegation’s dialogue delved deep into the nation’s strides under President Tinubu. “In just two years, President Tinubu’s bold reforms have ushered in tangible improvements—achievements that Senator Ebute extolled as pivotal to Nigeria’s future”. His caution was also clear: “any interruption to this leadership trajectory threatens the stability and hard-won advancements of the nation”.

According to the elder statesman, “education has experienced a historic breakthrough with over half a million students now empowered by scholarships and financial aid designed to dismantle barriers to learning. Landmark investments in technical and vocational training, including free tuition and stipends, are revolutionizing youth empowerment and industrial readiness, fueling the engine of Nigeria’s burgeoning economy” Senator Ebute remarked.

He further maintained that, “Security concerns that once overshadowed the nation are now met with hope. Terrorism in the Northeast has been dramatically curtailed to a 12-year low; displaced farmers in the North-Central states are returning home; and banditry-riddled highways in the Northwest stand safer than ever before. These strides, according to him, “mark a profound turning point in public safety and community rebuilding”.

On the economic front, Barrister Comfort Chigbue Ortega of the National Advisory Council of the AATSG heralded Nigeria’s first-ever recorded trade surplus—a landmark moment reflecting the power and promise of Tinubu’s trade and industrial reforms. This milestone charts a course toward economic resilience and a more prominent role for Nigeria on the global stage.

Closing the meeting, the AATSG offered heartfelt prayers for the president’s continued wisdom and strength and for enduring national unity. With the “Renewed Hope Agenda” as their rallying cry, the group pledged relentless, collective effort to ensure Nigeria’s bright future is fully realized by 2027.

“The message is clear: Nigeria’s destiny hinges on steadfast support for visionary leadership and a united front embracing bold reforms that are already reshaping the nation”, Otunba Odunowo said.
