Elipse Coy lauds Nigeria’s Gov Mutfwang on Democray Day

Elipse International, a Mining company in northcentral Nigeria, with a milestone in global investment, has said the Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang, has in several fora reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to upholding the tenets of democracy and providing tangible benefits to the people of the State.
In a statement on Thursday in commemoration of Nigeria’s Democracy Day, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, Mr. Denzel Henry Akogwu, felicitated Mutfwang on this significant occasion, calling on citizens to also renew their dedication to democratic values.
Akogwu said: “Democracy Day provides an opportunity to reflect on our nation’s democratic journey and renew our dedication to its core principles.
“As a businessman, I am committed to ensuring that our country not only upholds these principles but also reaps the rewards that a thriving democracy can provide for its citizens.”
He further explained that democracy is more than just elections, adding that it is a system of government that guarantees fundamental human rights, equality, and the rule of law, highlighting the importance of citizen participation, accountability, and inclusive governance.
“Mutfwang is dedicated to fostering an environment where citizens can freely express themselves, where transparency and accountability are paramount, and where governance is inclusive and responsive to the needs of all,” Elipse remarked.
Akogwu also called upon the citizens of the State to actively participate in upholding democratic norms by engaging in civic duties, holding leaders accountable, and promoting peaceful dialogue, affirming that the Governor’s administration remains focused on improving quality of life through investments in education, healthcare, and infrastructure, as well as by creating a supportive environment for businesses to flourish.
“As we celebrate Democracy Day, let us remember that democracy is an ongoing process that requires the commitment and active participation of every citizen”, Elipse said.
