Nigerian Defence Academy to hold lecture on Economy

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), is poised to hold an inaugural lecture, aimed at proffering solution to the not too encouraging economic situation of the country.

The lecture titled “That Nigeria Shall Not Remain Economically Underdeveloped: Quest for Solutions”, will be the 10th in series of the seventh lecture to be conducted by the Commandant of the Academy, Maj Gen. Adeniyi Oyebade.

In a statement signed by the spokesperson of the Academy, Major Abubakar Abdullahi, and a copy made available to Sky News Africa, Tuesday, reads that the lecture will hold on Thursday 29th August 2019, at the Joseph Garba Hall, Ribadu Campus, Kaduna northwest Nigeria, by 10:00am.

 “The lecture will be delivered by Professor Egwaikhinde Christian Imondu, a professor of Development Economics at the NDA, while the Guest of Honour will be the former Academy Registrar, Maj Gen Cecil Esekhaigbe, the Okanlete of Esan Land”.

The statement further reads that the Academy is open to enhance intellectualism and research among it’s academic staff.
