Nigeria’s Governor Lalong of north central Plateau State, has said trade fair’s provides unique opportunities to boost Small Medium Enterprise (SME).
Gov. Lalong who spoke on Monday in Jos, the city capital, at the occasion to flag off the 8th edition of the international trade fair annually organised by “Anista Marketing”, said his government will leave no stone unturned in providing enabling environment for entrepreneurs to thrive.
“I assure investors and business owners wishing to operate in the State of safety, friendly atmosphere and enabling environment.
“Trade fair provides the desired opportunity to grow small businesses and that is why my government has always supported innovations that will grow entrepreneurs”, he said.
Lalong added that businessmen and women, corporate bodies, and exhibitors that have come from far and near to participate in the Fair should join hands in the process of rebuilding the State.
Speaking earlier, organiser of the Fair and Chief Executive Officer, Anista Marketing, Bolict Barshep, said the 2019 trade fair is another opportunity to savor the great moment of interaction through various trade exhibitions, cross cultural relations, entertainment and other forms of engagements.
According to Barshep, “In 2016, against all odds, we staged a trade fair in Jos which was adjudged as one of the best in recent times and by sheer determination we are staging the eight edition this year.
“Counting on the successes of previous editions, it has become imperative that we build on it in other to achieve greater success as it is evident in this year’s edition and to put the name of Plateau once again on the high amongst states to be reckoned with.”
“The choice of the theme for this year’s Fair which is ‘Trade Fair a Platform to Promote the Tourism Potentials on the Plateau’ is apt as this will open doors for the building of a stronger economy”, Barbhep said.
