Nigeria Police in north central Plateau State on Monday said it has arrested 357 suspects for looting government and private properties in the State.

Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Egbuka made this known while addressing newsmen in the city Capital of Jos.

Egbuka condemned in totality the breaking and looting into government warehouses, shops and private houses of individuals by hoodlums and other criminals under the guise of EndSARS protests.

He said a trailer carrying some looted items were also intercepted by security operatives.

He said people who have looted government properties are giving 24 hours to return them.

“Anyone found in possession of any looted item after this date will be arrested and brought to book,” he said. Our correspondent had earlier reported that warehouses where COVID-19 palliatives were stored in the State was looted on Saturday and Sunday by hoodlums.
