Nigeria @65: Ex Lawmaker Sen Daduut urges support for national development, President Tinubu

As Nigeria celebrates its 65th Independence Anniversary, a former Lawmaker, Senator Nora Daduut has called on citizens to actively support the government’s efforts in driving national development, stating that progress requires collective effort from both leaders and the people.

Daduut who is currently a Pro Chancellor of the country’s Federal University of Technology Akure northcentral Nigeria, also called on citizens of the nation to support the President Bola Tinubu led administration as it is fixing critical sectors of the economy .

In her Independence message, she commended President Bola Tinubu for his developmental strides since assuming office and encouraged Nigerians to support the administration’s initiatives aimed at advancing the nation.

She urged citizens to always remain united and committed to building a better future.

She advocated that Nigeria’s diversities should be a source of unity and progress, urging Nigerians to shun all divisive rhetoric, and intolerance towards fellow countrymen.

Daduut also lauded the First lady of the Federation Senator Oluremi Tinubu, describing her as a true mother.

She commended the First Lady for her various humanitarian efforts to lift the women folk, the underprivileged and distressed Nigerians across the nation.

Daduut added that her role in the faithful implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda through her Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) programme is a major contribution to national development.
