Nigeria
The Federal Government of Nigeria has reiterated its commitment to collaborating with both local and international companies to advance renewable energy initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable power generation, reducing reliance on fossil fuels, and fostering a greener environment.
In a statement signed by the Director of Information & Public Relations, Segun Imohiosen, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume, CON, highlighted the critical role renewable energy plays in the current administration’s economic recovery and sustainability agenda. He stressed that Nigeria must not lag in the global shift toward clean energy solutions. “The Federal Government is opening its doors to genuine local and foreign companies with the capacity and technology to drive renewable energy projects across the country. This partnership will go a long way to promote efficient power to people, industries, and domestic users,” he said.
Sen. Akume made this disclosure during a courtesy visit by a delegation from KF Manufacturing Company, Guangzhou, China, led by its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Bruce Zheng.
He further assured that the administration is creating a conducive environment for investors by simplifying the cost of doing business. This includes the abolition of multiple foreign exchange systems and various taxation layers, facilitating the growth of small and medium-scale enterprises.
Prior to the SGF’s remarks, Mr. Bruce Zheng of KF Manufacturing Company expressed the company’s readiness to collaborate with the Nigerian Government to encourage the adoption of renewable energy across government institutions. He observed that many public institutions have yet to transition to cleaner energy systems.
KF Manufacturing Company specializes in supplying solar panels, batteries, and inverters which meet eco-friendly and green energy standards, underscoring their commitment to the shared vision of sustainable development in Nigeria.
