Nigeria’s tech. coy, BDIC partners broadcaster NTA towards digital transformation

An emerging Nigeria’s tech giant, the Benue Digital Infrastructure Company (BDIC) PLC yesterday played host to the Zonal Director of NTA Makurdi Network Centre, Mrs. Asabe Ak’mordi, alongside her management team, on a courtesy visit.

The engagement provided an opportunity to showcase BDIC’s cutting-edge digital products and services, pivotal to powering the state’s ongoing evolution into a fully digital economy.

A major highlight of the visit was the inspection of BDIC’s innovative technology portfolio, which includes computers, biometric data devices, tablets, projectors, and drones. These tools are crafted to boost digital capacity and service delivery across multiple sectors within Benue State. The interaction with children participating in the Benue State Government–sponsored Summer Tech Training at BDIC headquarters was particularly impactful. Mrs. Ak’mordi inspired the young attendees to embrace technology as a catalyst for creativity and a critical skill for their future success.

The visit also served as a platform for BDIC and the NTA Makurdi Network Centre to outline a strategic partnership. The collaboration aims to promote the Digital Benue Project by leveraging NTA’s extensive media reach to enhance digital literacy, e-governance, and technological development in the state. This synergy is expected to bring the vision of a connected, innovative, and prosperous Benue within closer reach.

To symbolize this commitment to innovation and excellence, the BDIC presented Mrs. Ak’mordi with the BDIC-branded tablet, the Igyuve T10. The tablet offers a tangible demonstration of BDIC’s capability to develop not only the digital infrastructure but also consumer-ready technology solutions that meet global standards.

This partnership aligns with both organizations’ missions to advance Benue’s digital economy and empower its citizens through technology. By combining BDIC’s infrastructural prowess with NTA’s media influence, the initiative will accelerate digital transformation efforts across the state.

Together, BDIC and NTA Makurdi Network Centre are forging a path for Benue to become a leading digital economy in Nigeria, turning visionary goals into actionable realities and inspiring the next generation of digital pioneers.
