2024 IWD: Lagos Trade Fair scribe, Eromonse-Oris, lauds DG Ndanusa, siblings

The Personal Assistant to the Executive Director (ED), Lagos International Trade Fair Complex, Mr. Peter Eromonse Oriaran-oris has expressed best wishes to the Lagos Trade Fair boss, Barr. Vera Ndanusa, as the world marks International Women’s Day (IWD).

Eromonse-Oris also lauded the Hon. Secretary to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mrs Rose Orianran-Anthony, admiring her strength and courage.

Highlighting the significance of this year’s theme of the IWD tagged: ‘Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress’, the scribe-man also gushes on her siblings, The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), BlackStone Capital Ltd, Dr. Lizzie Kings-Wali, Chairperson of the Nigerian Association of Women Entrepreneur, Delta State branch, Amb. Philomena Badaiki, Chief Executive Officer, Party Scope, Mrs Patience Okeahialam, Personal Assistant to the INEC Secretary, Barr. Patricia Eric-samuel and the gorgeous ‘mummy twins’.

Calling them incredible he said: “To all the incredible women out there, Happy Women’s Day! Your strength, courage, and grace inspire me every day.

“Being a woman is a superpower, and I still don’t know how you do it all with such grace. Happy Women’s Day to all the superheroes in my life!

He continued: “Happy Women’s Day to all the phenomenal women who continue to break barriers and defy stereotypes. You are amazing!

“Now I fully understand the meaning of “no nation succeeds without investing in women”, as it is popularly agreed that “Train a woman, and you train a nation”, he said.

Our correspondent reports that on this year’s special women’s day, the United Nations have postulated that achieving gender equality and women’s well-being in all aspects of life is more crucial than ever, if the world wants to create prosperous economies and a healthy planet. 

“We are facing a key challenge, which is the alarming $360 billion annual deficit in gender-equality measures by 2030”, the UN said.
