The General Officer Commanding (GOC), 3 Division Nigerian Army in the Northern part of the country, Maj.-Gen. Abdulsalam Abubakar on Monday attended the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day in Jos, the capital city of Plateau State.
The event, which is held nationwide on January 15 annually, honors the country’s fallen heroes.
Other dignitaries present at the event were the Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Gabriel Dewan, Secretary to the State Government Arch. Samuel Jatau, the Commissioner of Police, Julius Okoro, the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice of the State, Philemon Dafi and other Service Chiefs.
